Drifters of the Dead OVA Anime Review, a headshot of fanservice- [AnimeToxin]

An OVA of Highschool of the Dead bundled with the 7th manga volume. Komuro and the gang stumble upon a deserted tropical island that looks to be free of zombies.

They make use of this wonderful opportunity and dress up in skimpy swimsuits and have lots and lots of fanservice fun. Hallucinogenic substances are involved. (Anime, Drifters of the Dead) 7.0/10

The fanservice was too much to bear but the action scenes were fantastic.

Yeah unfortunately the thing has been on hiatus for almost a year and a half at this point, having my doubts if it will ever actually come back.

Even as a fan of fan service this one way too over the top for me, especially when they could have done at least something else.

I don't remember the OVA having much fan service but it definitely was a filler that is preparing for the episodes to come. It was kinda refreshing watching them show their true characters away from all the zombies.
