Fairy Tail Artist Is Excited By Metal Gear Solid News, Draws Raiden
Hiro Mashima, the manga artist behind Fairy Tail and Rave Master, is pumped up after hearing all of the Metal Gear Solid news from last week’s event. He’s so excited he immediately drew Raiden from Metal Gear Rising: Revengance.

I didn't enjoy Fairy Tail's story very much until the Edolas arc. I really liked that one. Then there was that mage exam which I thought was kind of boring at the start but got really interesting later on, especially the end. I just wish the timeskip was an actual timeskip (and happened in like a hundred episodes). These fillers are killing me right now. I know the show will continue to get better then it's subpar beginnings.
If you're sick of fillers then just read the manga. I started reading the manga right after Gildarts faced Natsu on Tenrou Island because I couldn't wait. It's definitely worth reading.
I'm not a manga person. I read the Naruto manga up to the Pein fight and I couldn't read it anymore. Too many lines, it was hard to see what was going on (especially Itachi vs Sasuke) so I had to wait a few years to watch the anime again. I don't want to experience that again. :(
