I can't believe how long the arc is taking. I expected it would be at the New World already.

The manga is actually a fair amount ahead because this is taking so long.

There won't be fillers, or if there is it will only be a few episodes. One Piece is very good at avoiding fillers.

this whole arc felt like a filler to me. Luffy saying that he would kick Hordy's ass for over a month now but never got around to doing it. This arc was too long and almost completely ruined what could have been the straw hat's epic return.

Yeah Hordy does suck. The Fishman Island arc as a whole does have its moments but it's pretty crap, which is rare in One Piece. Thankfully it was followed up by Punk Hazard which is awesome.
