Creator Monkey Punch Wants Lupin III Live Action Movie

The character designer for the recent “Lupin III - The Woman Called Fujiko Mine” anime series, Takeshi Koike, had drawn a crossover picture between Fujiko and Steven Soderbergh's Haywire film to promote the movie, which premieres September 28th in Japan.

Meanwhile, original Lupin III manga creator, Monkey Punch half-jokingly asked for Soderbergh to direct the proposed live-action Hollywood film version of the manga/anime series, back in 2006. Steven Soderbergh was also the director of the Ocean's Eleven remake. (Anime, Lupin III, Monkey Punch)

Lupin III isn't really well-suited for live-action.

But Arsene could use a good live-action film. One that didn't suck. France.

I wish he got another anime and not about Fujiko.

Your right though Lupin III isnt suited for live action.
