It is set in Ikebukuro, there are different gangs (and yakuza, and some other mysterious non-human) who fight each others, befriend each others, betray each others etc etc. The anime focuses on a few main characters from these factions and follow them as they go through their daily lives. Or at least that’s what you thought they were doing!"
