Not surprised to see this one ending actually. I was a fan of the manga for a while but I ended up dropping it after they returned from the future. Let's just hope that it will end on a decent note for those who are still fans.

I'm sure Amano will give it a satisfying end. I'm just wondering what will happen in the final 8 chapters now!

very sad to see it ending, was an amazing series but what more story can be told?
masterabbott  +   200d ago

Amano committed the same mistake every shonen manga does. She turned the main character into the ultimate being and the only way to keep going forward now is by making the over the top even more over the top like Toriyama did from DB to DBZ. On top of this they already explained the only mystery the series had left which was the arcobaleno thing so there's no more fabric to keep cutting from.

Hardly a mistake . Just that every shonen needs to end at some point where you cant keep the upkeep and increase of powers , and of course good storylines . Amano gets it , too many didnt and still dont .

Amano explained the big mystery , now it's time to wrap it up . hardly as there was a case of dragging feet there .

Anyway maybe it will finally mean a final anime serie as well .

It's sad, but it was the only way. It seemed like Amano was kinda tired of it; Am I the only who felt that the final battles were REALLY rushed? I cant even call them "battles".

Finally with this, Naruto and Bleach coming to an end, Hunter X Hunter will finally be able to shine as it deserves to be in the spotlight.
DEATHxTHExKIDx  +   200d ago
Yea if HxH ever comes off hiatus.
Trunkz Jr  +   200d ago
Didn't you hear? HXH volumes are coming out in Dec. meaning Togashi is done redrawing them, manga usually follows shortly around this area :)
Baka-akaB  +   200d ago
While vastly superior to all (saves One Piece imo) , HxH kinda missed its chances to shine more with the erratic schedule .

Plus quite frankly , while accessible , it's overly complicated and zany for some . I doubt it will ever reach their popularity , even with the anime serie , wich is sad .

When Naruto and Bleach end, it will be the end of the Japanese manga/anime complex, as we know it. It will have to reinvent itself and radically change, as there are simply no IP's able to offset their loss of revenue or draw new readers.

I don't even want to start thinking about what the future holds for anime and manga. But in the long run, it is why the industry needs people like us (the ones who grew up watching/reading anime and manga to take the previous generation place and innovate off of what we learned growing up. But even then...

Like I said, I don't want to even think about it...

When naruto and Bleach ends , there will still probably be One Piece .... and another shonen new property will fill the void .

Just like beyond Db and DBZ , there were stuff like yuyu Hakusho , kenshin , Detective conan , Slam Dunk , full metal alchemist , Inu Yasha etc .

For a while there will be a struggle but nothing new . Did the industry collapses for a lack of dragon ball ? No it quite quickly found successors

Srsly?! So Bermuda was the last villian?! Tsuna kicked the crap ot of him once he used his new dying will it wasn't even a close fight. I hope we at least get an epilogue chapter of an older tsuna as boss. Honestly tho I'm kinda dissapointed now

Such a shame to see a manga end but understandably, there isnt anything left. The last arc resolved everything. I wonder how the author will end it though.
ApolloTheBoss  +   200d ago
I kinda wished the last enemy was Daemon Spade. He was a way better villan than Bermuda.

They needed to go through Bermuda to finally resolve the mystery of the Arcobaleno, so now that they've done that, it can now end in peace.

I hope this means they'll continue the anime.
