People don't commit suicide over single events like that. One bad experience seldom warrants the taking of a life, of any life... this child had likely been suffering for a very, very long time, and in all this time no one paid him any attention or mind.

He found that only in death, used as an attention-grabbing headline in some pathetic attempt to stir up controversy, or at the very least hit-based ad revenue.

Disgusting. Disgusting and shameful. Kotaku is not responsible for this child's death, but the fact that they seek to profit from it is morally reprehensible.

I try to imagine what it's like to live where anime & manga are as common as usb ports... and just can't! I'm not sure what I'd do if an fictional character I grew up with suddenly died.
