“Madoka Magica” Embraces 8-Bit & Retro

Seven writes: "Gaming company Namco, still unable to come up with another hit to capitalize on their 30 year old or so title of Pac-Man, have decided to instead slap their name across assorted Madoka Magica goods for profit.

As it’s the new “everyone is doing it”, Namco has indeed decided to do it as well – they’ve made a contract with SHAFT, and now are permitted to place their emblem across various products featuring artwork of mahou shoujos who have absolutely not a drop of relevance to any Namco creation, organization, or brand."
