Final Evangelion Film No Longer Listed in 2013

The official website for the fourth film in Hideaki Anno and Khara’s four-part remake of Gainax’s Neon Genesis Evangelion series has been updated with the title. However, the site no longer lists 2013 as the release date. The initially planned 2013 release date was first revealed on the site on New Year’s Day this year. (Anime, Evangelion)

Not unexpected. The 3rd movie was initially planned to be released earlier than this, wasn't it? Hardly surprising that with it being pushed back, the 4th would be too. Though having said that, I seem to recall the initial plan was for the 4th movie to launch the same day as the 3rd. I suppose they're well beyond where they intended to be.

Only thing that upsets me is it will take even longer to get to America. 3.0 sis gonna take at least a year and a half maybe more to get to America.

Can you imagine an avid Eva fan who's only knowledge of the show has only been through dvd's and bluray's. (long shot) And they somehow have just found out what they've long sought was on the internets for months or even years. (yeah I know)

I don't envy the constant uphill battle they have to fight.

Case point: One Piece

I would never watch this on the Internet. Blu-Ray all the way.

and here we go! Japanese are as slow developing video games as they are with their anime. That's why Hellsing Ultimate has taken like 10 years to be completed.

You know anime is extremely expensive and time consuming to make right?

This biggest shock was that we waited forever to see 2.0 in theaters here in North America and it was subbed. Stumps me why can't they bring it here earlier.
