The distribution company GKids announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the North American theatrical rights to Isao Takahata and Studio Ghibli's Grave of the Fireflies film from Toho Co., LTD.
GKids is planning a 25th anniversary theatrical release in the United States. The film will also be added to GKids current Studio Ghibli retrospective that is touring the country.
