Michael Kateregga writes: "The reason I am writing this article on the series Accel World isn’t necessarily to criticize or compliment it.
The show presents a wholly unique and impressive plot, crisp animation and passable action sequences. It, however, suffers tremendously from rather bland storytelling, pacing and an inability to evolve during progression.
Overall, Accel World hangs about in an unsatisfactory neutral zone. It could have been so good, and exhibited so much potential, but 24 episodes later, I was still waiting for that ultimate high that hits when a story clicks into place so perfectly."
