Final Impressions: Hiiro no Kakera II | Japanator

Kristina Pino:

Though the first season of Hiiro no Kakera filled me with disappointment over the wasted potential, I welcomed season two with open arms hoping that the tide would change. As was much the case with Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi, Hiiro no Kakera's seasons one and two can't be viewed as separate and complete entities, but more like one long season that just happened to have an intermission in the middle.

Hiiro no Kakera II picks up exactly where the first season left off, at which point the Tamayori Princess hasn't realized her full powers, her guardians are still constantly cheering her on while dealing with their own heavy problems, the enemy Logos keeps jerking them all around, and the previous Tamayori Princess, Tamaki's grandmother, was no help whatsoever.

Read on for my thoughts after seeing Hiiro no Kakera II through the end. (Anime, Hiiro no Kakera)
