Most of this stuff I didn't know yet, and was pretty interesting. Good read. Concise and informative.

All of those were pretty big announcements, but the JoJo's anime was pretty mediocre and will probably be forgotten just as fast. I don't think it is even doing all that well in Japan since it has such a niche following.

It is actually doing well in Japan having topped the charts with every DVD/BluRay release to date. It has a niche following outside of Japan but in Japan it is actually quite popular. :)

Well, so far the Blu-ray releases aren't coming out until 2013 so there is no clue how well it's being received. Sure it may be getting a two-cour season but that was probably planned originally.

I agree with him on JoJo. I love the show the manga is better though. Right now the best part of the JoJo universe is airing. Joseph is the best Joelstar. People thats to use to fair fights and that honor bs will probably hate him though.

I can't believe the article forgot to mention the whole Freddie Prinze, Jr incident where he called anime “japanimation”. The backlash that he got was pretty shocking to say the least.
