Takashi Miike will direct a film adaptation of Mogura no Uta

Takashi Miike, the world renowned director of highly controversial films like Audition and Ichi the Killer will be the one to direct a live-action film adaptation of the Mogura no Uta manga. The announcement came off fresh from the pages of Japanese manga magazine Big Comic Spirits this monday. Miike has recently adapted Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to the big screen, as well as Yusuke Kishi’s novel Aku no Kyoten (which is still in theaters in Japan).
