"Ecchi anime have quite a reputation in the industry and whenever one is licensed, there is a certain group of people who sigh and shake their heads. However time and time again ecchi and harem series have been released overseas and their quality has proven that these series deserve their place in the industry and offer more than just casual fan service. One such series has been Heaven’s Lost Property. With it’s nonsensical humor, intriguing plot and great cast of characters the series has made quite a name for itself in the West."
9/10
3/10 would be the highest this garbage show and movie would get from me.
Now when adapting from a manga with lots of fanservice you'll get an anime... with EVEN more fanservice and generic looking because that's what sells.
I plan to watch the anime later, but I only know one change that irks me, but the rest seems fine.
Those coming for a generic harem anime/manga will find it to have a deeper story than most would think... before this even came out I tried reading one of the mangaka's previous manga... it was too depressing for me even to finish, but I knew that this mangaka was capable of creating a good story (at least emotionally).
1. Clearly when I said persona 4, I was referring to the really good Anime, that if I member correctly, this site gave a 4/10 to.
2. Ever heard of subs?
3. I never said anything on the series as a whole, just the movie, which really is, at best, nothing more then a glorified recap episode.
1. There are multiple reviewers for this site and if you pay attention, you'll notice that the reviewer for these two submissions is different. Also you'll notice that the reviewer of Persona 4 Golden is not the same as Persona 4 Anime, different people's opinions and such means different thoughts. Reviews are at best opinions.
2. This means you downloaded probably a lower-quality version of a show and were forced to read probably low quality translation and were not given the final English product complete with pristine blu-ray and everything else.
3. If you actually read the review, you'll notice how the person mentioned that while half of the thing is apparently a recap, it is also worked in a way that still provides a new perspective from things for those who have seen everything. Are you so jaded that new viewer's can't enjoy anything you've ever seen before?
