Review: Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne | About

If there's a giant robot in an anime -- or even a not-so-giant one! -- one of the nigh-inviolable rules of the medium is that the one piloting it has to be a kid or a teenager. Usually male, but there are plenty of instances where a girl's at the controls.

In the case of Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, a new mecha-centric SF anime just out courtesy of VIZ, the main character and her two close friends are all female teens, and all of them pilot robots known as the "Vox," which they're using to keep Earth safe from an alien incursion.
