Viz Media has started streaming an English-subtitled trailer for its Blood Lad anime, which coincidentally started streaming on its website and on Hulu after the trailer aired. The comedy anime is an adaptation of Yuki Kodama’s manga that follows a vampire called Staz who falls for a human high school girl named Fuyumi. Unfortunately, she is suddenly killed and Staz tries to bring her back to life.
The anime is directed by Shigeyuki Miya at Brains Base and will follows the scripts by Takeshi Konuta. Kenji Fujisaki is in charge of character design, with May’n and Yuuka Nanri producing the opening and ending themes, respectively.
The anime is currently airing on Japanese TV and will be streamed on Neon Alley in 2014, along with recieving a Blu-ray and DVD release in 2014.
