"When Japanse film distributor Toho announced their lineup for next year, Studio Ghibli’s next film was amongst that list. The film will be an adaption of the classic children’s novel When Marnie Was There, written by Joan G. Robinson. The novel is one of 50 on the list of recommendations for children compiled by Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki. An official site has been launched for the film, but it doesn’t provide us with many details just yet. It does feature a tagline for the film which reads ”There is a magical circle invisible to the naked eye in this world.”"
