Kill la Kill Episode 14 – Impressions and Notes

Another entry in my note-taking and thought-jotting series of posts on currently running shows. This time we focus on making objects and concepts into a weapon, and Ryuko's journey to finally becoming the shounen hero we always knew she could be.

As always, the notes were taken while actually watching the episode, and rather than just repeating what you've already watched, elaborate upon it, assuming you've already watched the episode.

To be honest, only Osaka really impressed me, with how they used Gamagoori and Satsuki's methods against them (turning objects and philosophies into weapons), and by making this "impersonal", a fight between parties, rather than one where Satsuki can truly insert herself.

As such, I found it very fitting that they are the one where Satsuki will have to play her hand. Currently, Satsuki is the true protagonist of the show, even if not the main character.
