Last week's episode had combat, but was a bit disappointing. This week's had no combat, but I was glued to the screen. Thematic depth? Ok. But what we truly had was the show seeing its direction, finding its way, and setting things up - both explaining all the conflicts up to now, and setting up the future ones.

This episode had /really/ been fun. Good job.

I like when episodes/chapters have lots of exposition. No fighting bur learned a lot.

You guys are forgetting though! Studio Trigger has defied the RECAP EPISODE SYNDROME!

Most shows these days don't have recap episodes anyway :3

Exactly. Gurren lagaan had a whole episode for a recap. Kill la kill just the intro.
