As I wrote in my mid-season impression, Wizard Barristers established a few episodes in that the legal premise was going to be the background of the series and not the focus. Instead, the story has pursued the protagonist Cecil as the chosen one in some prophecy. Funny, I feel like I might have seen that somewhere before. But just because the series isn’t focusing on the legal aspect doesn’t mean I can’t read way too much into it! It’s probably obvious, but let me state for the record that I am not a lawyer, just in case.
