TOHO has definitely upped their game this year in teases and showing off what’s coming for new shows and their home video releases. The latest piece is a minute long tease of the featurettes and behind the scenes material that will be on the first Japanese Akame ga Kill release. While we got a look at one of the mini shorts before, this one goes into talking with the production team, showing some in the booth material as well as recording of the score for the series. The show is going to get an eight volume release beginning on October 15th, 2014 where the Blu-ray releases will be priced at 6,800 yen each and the DVD releases at 5,800 yen each. Each volume is set to run for three episodes each with Japanese PCM language and no English language subtitles. The first volume has a few details listed for it with the clean versions of the opening and closing sequences included as well as promotional materials and some form of an audio commentary as well. Extras on subsequent volumes through the final one one May 20th, 2015 will include at least an audio commentary with more to be determined along the way.
