Anime for n00bs 101. That's a good list of anime for kids to watch though.
But even if I tried to make a top 10 anime of 2011 I wouldn't be able to mention a single one because all of them has been crap. The best I've seen so far are Uzagi Drop and Steins;Gate but these are nothing special... Most other animes are either moe garbage or lolis. Crap animes like Mayo Chiki, Blood-C, Sacred Seven, R-15, Ro-Kyu-Bu! are everywhere! But let me say that 2011 has been the best year for Hentai Anime ever... Don't judge me!
I'm a noob when it comes to anime I mostly watch Naruto (watched all of Death Note and I don't really like Bleach- what would you anime pros recommend for me to watch?
Anything in the vein of Naruto? Or anything that surpasses it?
I've seen Afro Samurai, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo.
The only valid animeson that list are Blue Exorcist, Deadman Wonderland, an Beelzebub, the other ar just commercial anime from a long of time ago. Not to mention that FMA has already ended.
That list should be something like:
Usagi Drop Nichijou Usagi Drop Tiger and Bunny Usagi Drop Madoka Magika Usagi Drop Hanasaku Iroha Usagi Drop Ao no Exorcist
More like just go and read the completed manga to Usagi Drop. I think the anime only covers 11 eps worth of the manga, and it has been following the manga so far, with a little add-ins here and there..

For me the main anime I'm looking forward to seeing in 2011 is Mirai Nikki. And that's only if they COMPLETELY follow the manga to the end.

Suggestions: Nichijou, Tiger and Bunny, Madoka Magica, Mawaru Penguindrum, Ikoku Meiro no Croisee and (maybe, if you can get the pace) Hanasaku Iroha.
