Mamoru Hosoda's anime film Summer Wars was broadcasted on NTV's "Friday Roadshow!" block on July 20 for the second time since August of 2010, following Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away on July 6 and My Neighbor Totoro on July 13. According to BIGLOBE's "Twipple Trend" service, Japanese users on Twitter posted messages about the film more than 7,800,000 times during the broadcasting time, 9:00 to 10:54 pm.
