Unpublished Osamu Tezuka Manga Discovered

"News has just broke that an unpublished manuscript penned by Osamu Tezuka has been uncovered after more than 60 years since pen was put to paper.

The uncovered work is a 19 page gag manga focuses around the societal dilemmas of the post-war generation, is drawn on size B4 paper and binded two-fold. The main message of the manga is one of freedom in an era in which being truly free was now becoming a reality."

Holy hell. Given that this was apparently something he made in his teens, given to a former classmate, I wonder if there's any other undiscovered works of this master still waiting out there...

I just hope that this gets treated with the respect it deserves, now that it's been found. It'd be far too easy for it to get damaged, it needs to be scanned and digitized in some manner to preserve it for the future.
