Nagi no Asukara Episode 17 - Impressions and Notes

Another entry in my note-taking and thought-jotting series of posts on currently running shows. This time we focus not just on change, but return to the old tune of accepting versus rejecting change. The difference is that with the time-skip, it's clear it's about clinging to the past, as things had /already/ changed.

As always, the notes were taken while actually watching the episode, and rather than just repeating what you've already watched, elaborate upon it, assuming you've already watched the episode.

This show, and its characters. One could say they never catch a break, but that's the whole point. Any time someone is in danger of getting what they wish for, we see someone else saying something to crush their hopes.

At least Kaname is honest about his feelings, but then again, he's always been - he rarely speaks, but is quite blunt when he does.
