Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto appeared at Thailand Comic Con giving his views on the future of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Does it have a future?
Aaah, it`s so beautiful with a yes or no question in the headline. It makes me want to read the article. I`m sure it`s deep and well formulated. Something holds me back though.
That's your opinion. And I think it's a perfectly valid question. Whether or not Final Fantasy has a future depends on when FFXV is released, and how the game does. Depending on how the game does, it could either be SE's comeback or the last nail in the coffin.
I'm just giving my own thoughts on the situation, and what else SE could possibly do with their two major franchises after FFXV is out of the way. Either way, thanks for your 'hit' which you seem to be implying is the only thing we're after.
I like your optimism. But I think Square Enix will only be able to pick themselves up along with their two big franchises with the release of FFXV. From now till then, I think it's going to be a slog with how fans are getting so impatient.

Of course it has a future, otherwise it would be cancelled.
One thing you can count on, as far as Final Fantasy games go....it's never the FINAL fantasy. There will always be another. LOL
