OreGairu Season 2 Episode 11 – Not Nobility; Maturity

Another entry in my note-taking and thought-jotting series of posts on currently running shows. This episode's write-up focused on Hayama Hayato, his maturity, and his own inner turmoils, as reflected by the other characters.

As always, the notes were taken while actually watching the episode, and rather than just repeating what you've already watched, elaborate upon it, assuming you've already watched the episode.

I really liked this episode. I always liked Hayama as a character, because it was clear he was suffering just as much as the other characters, but he knew what they still had to learn, that there's no getting around it, and he knows how to go for what he wants, rather than lie to himself about what that is.

Does it still hurt, does it still sometimes not work out? Yes, but that's life. He's not fully mature, but seeing him on screen and interact with Hikki sure is nice.

Also, for all those "8man is the Batman" people, then Hayama is the shining Harvey Dent :P
