We previously reported that a movie of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso may be in the works. It has now been announced that this was true. There will be a live action movie based on the story of the manga, and it will air starting sometime during 2016.
It'll be interesting to see how the piano sequences are adapted for the live-action film. Same goes for all of the slapstick comedy.
I can't wait to see this! All I hope is that it's faithful to the series, that's all!
