Nerd Reactor: If you’ve never seen Jhonen Vasquez ‘s Invader Zim then don’t even try to talk to me. The show had a very short run on Nickelodeon, but it had built a substantial cult following. The Invader Zim creator recently caught an episode of Gainax’s new anime, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and noticed that the show’s character Chuck bares a striking resemblance to his character Gir.
Too bad they're only similar in appearance...
