Death Note Black Edition Vol. 1 Review (

Raymond Herrera of reviews Vol.1 of the Death Note Black Edition from Viz Media.

"All-in-all Death Note is a very interesting series and it is easy to see why it became as popular as it has over the past few years. For those fans that never picked up the previous manga release or those of you looking for a dark and interesting new series to get into you may want to consider picking up the Death Note Black Edition as getting two volumes in one package is a pretty sweet deal.

The cover art is simple yet nice and the all black cover as well as the pages gives the manga a very unique look. The only drawback about this though is that the cover gets dirty very easy and it is very visible where you hold the manga while reading. The manga itself seems a little bit large at 392 pages but it does contain two volumes of the series so the size is understandable."
