but they removed the gore and sexual scenes and that's what made the anime so striking and unique. Good story, characters, gore and sex. That combination is hard to come by. ;_;
Actually I find the over abundance of gore and sex to detract from the maturity of the Manga. Yes, they mature subjects, but they're displayed in such a juvenile way.
This movie looks great. The costumes are so true to the original manga!
