None of the character designs surprise me too much, though I was a bit surprised with the hair color used for Shiranui, never remember seeing her hair color before. I'm curious to see how far into the manga the plot for this anime will go.
It seems they got Medaka Kurokami spot on ;) Right down to the detail of her well endowed chest.
