They're actually bringing it over! They weren't kidding when they said Graces F's sales wouldn't affect Xillia's decision because that one tanked hard. You better buy this, West.
Xillia is an all around fantastic game. It streamlines a lot of its mechanics, like the leveling system and the shops, so management is a breeze. The combat system doesn't have the same depth and versatility of Graces (having bosses being able to automatically break out of your combos after 9 hits is a poor design decision in creating the illusion of challenge) but the link artes and elemental weaknesses are brilliant. The art, narrative, and characters are all very palatable and charming, so it's an easy recommendation for Tales fans new and old.
If they decide to include the original voices this time like Level-5 did with Ni No Kuni which is my most anticipated game currently then I'll get it, else they wont get a cent from me, JRPGs on PS3 w/o Japanese VO is a no-no for me simple as that.
