Anime review: ‘Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror’ | Examiner

Examiner's Raymond Herrera writes: "Set in modern Japan “Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror” follows a young girl named Haruka who loses her mother when she is young, which causes a rift between her and her father. When she was young her mother gave her a hand mirror and though she carried it with her everywhere in her youth as time passed she began to neglect it, until one day it is stolen by a mysterious creature."
