I never watched the original, but the new one is really good, and when I went to watch the old series to compare, I've gotta say that the new one is much much better. Art style is cleaner, but most importantly sound effects and music is much better.

Those are obvious advantages from modern technology, what really shines about the 2011 anime is the pace, is really faster than the old version.

Loving it until now.

Yeah those advantages were bound to happen, but it is much more of a stark contrast when compared to the whole FMA vs Brotherhood issue because those look almost exactly the same.

Yeah i actually saw 1999 one and i like the 2011 a lot more. I really like the fast pace. I just hope it slows down after greed island.

the fast pace is only catch up on the story since it was away for so damn long. the 1999 one is way better imo.

the only thing i dislike about the 2011 Hunter X hunter is the OP song. compared to the old's OP which has this soothing feeling really fits the anime. i really hate that 70's Rock OP song of the 2011 Hunter X Hunter
