Don’t judge an anime by its start

Michael Kateregga writes: "I recently applied the final touches to a particularly difficult chapter in one of my many projects.

And on stepping back to review my own work, I couldn’t help but feel proud of what seemed to me to be a particularly well-paced and well-written hundred pages. However, this feeling faded nearly instantly when, hours later, I had watched the final episodes of Persona 4.

The one memorable fact about this show is just how intriguing and suspenseful it got, to the point that I blew through nearly three hours of my late night just so I could see what happened at the end. This is a rather contradictory statement when you consider the fact that I couldn’t rate this series higher than a 4 out of 10 stars."

The story is too old to be commented.

I finish most shows I watch even if they suck.

I use to do that but i cant no more i have low tolerance for some reason now. I guess because i saw over 500 animes it feels like i saw this all over again.

I do that majority of the time as well.
As of right now, there are only 3 series that I gave up on after the first episode or two: Spice & Wolf, Lucky Star, and Kanokon.

I was rather bored through the first episode of S&W and just spent the whole time wondering when it would end.
I didn't find Lucky Star any form of funny or even remotely entertaining.
And Kanokon's first episode was just all over the place and generally made little to no sense. I hear it gets better at about episode 5 but I don't think I can sit through the other 3 episodes to get to that point.

it's like clannad. If I didn't know it was good, I probably would've dropped it.

Moyashimon isn't bad if you can get past the (icky for some) microbe theme.
I definitely had a WTF moment Kei had a seeming gender swap in the second season. lol
