What surprised me the most about Maoyuu Maou Yuusha was the overwhelming negative reaction to it on my Twitter timeline prior to me actually watching the episode. Now I haven’t even been on Twitter for even a year yet, but I don’t recall any show having this bad of a reaction before. Makes me wonder what Twitter was like when Guilty Crown was airing. Plus, this anime was produced by ARMS, which isn't exactly a company known for making good anime. I guess it was because the source material was promising that people paid attention. And if that’s the case, man did it backfire. Not that I see the justification for the hatred, as the episode I saw was honestly not that bad. It just wasn’t very interesting.
