Hunter x Hunter anime Chimera Ant Arc to begin on April 21st

Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed information regarding the upcoming Chimera Ant arc of the Hunter x Hunter anime series. Although Madhouse confirmed that the anime series would go beyond the Ant arc, many fans doubted the official word of Madhouse for one reason or another.

It is now with undeniable proof that the Chimera Ant arc will take place in the anime series as Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has confirmed that the arc will begin on April 21st, 2013. (Anime, Hunter x Hunter)

If they are already heading to the Chimera Ant arc in April then that means that they will probably catch up to the manga very quickly. With how long and how many hiatuses the author takes, there is no way that the anime is going to have much longer to go once this arc wraps up.

The Chimera Ant arc can be anything from 30-50 episodes, depending on how Madhouse handles it... and then a short arc afterwards.

The anime will probably finish around the start of 2014, where the manga is currently at. It's a perfect place to stop.

COOL but please change the opening. Imagine hearing "you can smile again!!!" but looking a the chimera queens face.

Other than that it would be great if the manga could get off hiatus as well.

Best news ever. I'm so glad Togashi finished the manga. Now we can have the full anime, all the way until the end.

To those who don't understand what I'm writting about: imagine Togashi never released those two chapters about the world tree and you will understand how the anime can finish quite nicely and "fix" the poor ending he wrote.
