Japanese Government Forms Committee to Help Spread Culture

Toshimitsu Motegi, the new Minister of METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry) has established a committe called the Creative Industries Internationalization Committee. Their goal will be to help re-spark interest in Japanese culture throughout the world, and to help companies in globalizing their brands.

One such initiative that is being taken by the Japanese government is called Cool Japan, which will focus on promoting anime, manga, food, fashion, and language.
