Ok! Question? When is the BluRay with dubs included comming state side?

Nov or Dec 2013? or maybe sometime in 2014. I hope not to wait that long.

If you're waiting for a dubbed blu-ray then be prepared to wait a couple of years.

I might just end up reverse importing if it takes as long as 2014 come to out in. So long as decent subs are present.

Blu-ray? State side? What are you talking about?
First and foremost, the movie just premiered in Japan 4 weeks ago. It will take more than half a year until it is even released on Blu-ray in Japan.

Second, Toei will obviously release this in theatres in the West before releasing a Blu-ray over there. They never did this for the earlier "movies", but those were only TV specials while this is a successful really movie.

And third, FUNimation Entertainment has the license for Dragon Ball stuff in the U.S. but hasn't even commented on the movie. This is more than enough to hint that it won't be released in 2013 (probably only late 2014, early 2015) on Blu-ray in the U.S.

True but lets act like its 2013 and not 1997 any more haha. As soon as the film is released on BluRay in Japan, it'll be ripped, fan-subbed and torrented within the week. They screw themselves by not doing a world wide release because so many fans decide to download and watch the film months before it officially releases in the US/EU.

By the time it actually releases, only the suuuper die hard fans will actually purchase it. The rest will have more than likely moved on and would be too busy torrenting whatever the next unreleased US/EU anime fan-subbed film is at the time.

I really hope they figure this out before then though...

in this day and age shouldnt be taking this long for a cartoon movie to come to america. how long does it take american films to go to other countrys becauselast time i check china and other places sometimes get the movies first before america. japan needs to get its act together and realise where the real money is.

I just Japanese movies take forever to hit blu-ray/dvd. It takes them like 9-12 months most of the time.

So is that suppose to be amazing.

The movie would have done well with a world-wide release. I don't know why Funimation didn't jump at the opportunity to make millions in the box office. If the abominable Dragon Ball Evolution managed to make 57 million dollars in the box office, imagine how well Battle of the Gods would have done.
