The Review: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
The setup is simple…A yakuza group and an upstart gang are nearly at war with each other. So, of course, their kids will date each other. But they hate each other, as we saw last episode (though they are seemingly respectful to each other, given Chitoge’s actions concerning Raku’s locket). It’s turning a lot of heads, because this could much more easily be a story of Romeo and Juliet. But instead, Romeo and Juliet hate each other and it’s the Montague’s and the Capulet’s (in the metaphor) that want to get along with each other. Not just that, but the formerly tough sounding—and still tough looking—yakuza/gang members are acting pretty lovey-lovey toward their respective masters.
