Kill la Kill Episode 15 – Impressions and Notes

Another entry in my note-taking and thought-jotting series of posts on currently running shows. This time the focus is on alone versus together, for Satsuki and Ryuuko, and we try yet again to make more sense of Satsuki's philosophy.

I actually spend a lengthy amount of time this time in the post-episode notes to try and see where we stand, if we try to look at this episode as a "game-changer".

As always, the notes were taken while actually watching the episode, and rather than just repeating what you've already watched, elaborate upon it, assuming you've already watched the episode.

This episode is interesting, because in so many ways things did /not/ change, and yet this is the game-changer, so it's more that the scope will be grander from now on, and there's supposedly a break between Ryuuko and Satsuki, which is amusing, considering how they were supposedly enemies all along.

Also, trying to understand the contradictions within Satsuki's stances continues to be a hard thing to do.
