Good list, but there are honestly way to many anime that were cut too short to count. For example, a notable show that is missing from this list is Rurouni Kenshin. (Samurai X)

In the third season is widely known to be completely filler. There were only like ten or eleven episodes even worth watching, an it was an extremely large let down compared to the previous seasons, OVAs, and manga.

Also, I'd say that the original Hunter X Hunter TV series is worthy of mentioning if you are going to include the original FMA anime series. But there are countless other (mostly seinen) shows that are missing as well. Spice & Wolf, Beserk, Claymore, Full Metal Panic!? One really questions their sanity when they learn all of these shows have TONS of untapped source material to continue with...

claymore was awesome, the story in the manga gets crazy. the one season anime didn't even come close to getting as weird

S&W and FMP... the incompleteness is eating at me...

I hate when they do an adaptation for an incomplete manga that has a monthly release schedule. It's strange that Claymore is missing from this list since everybody I know agrees that it was over way too soon. Also does Bleach really have no chance for a continuation?

Yeah monthlies are the worst for getting adaptations that end abruptly or go off on a tangent. Even with 51 episodes, Soul Eater went a similar way to the original FMA

They mentioned Gintama but that mostly stopped due to running out of source material, so they took a years break and did another year's run. I love Gintama but it's not a show that feels unfinished because it's so episodic.

Making a list like this and not even mentioning Berserk you colossal failure???
