Crunchyroll has filled another slot in their spring 2014 anime lineup with the announcement of Black Bullet joining the ranks of shows they’ll be simulcasting. The series is set to debut on Tuesday, April 8th, at 12:30pm ET for premium members while free members will get the show a week later. Black Bullet is one of several light novels that’s part of the Dengeki Bunko library that they’re turning into anime form these days in order to bolster their position in the market. The original work had its sixth volume released this past October, which is when the anime adaptation was first announced. The property began back in the summer of 2011 from Shiden Kanaki and Saku Ukai and it has some great names behind it with Masayuki Kojima directing based on scripts by Tatsuhiko Urahata with character designs by Chihi Umishima.
