So, Shingeki no Kyojin will reach the 40 million mark once the 14th volume is released on the 8th of August, the series currently has roughly 38.3 million copies in print in 12 countries and territories. Pretty impressive given that the series is only 5 years old, although the colossal hype around the Anime did help push sales. Shingeki no Kyojin also ended One Piece’s 6 year streak of topping the half yearly sales charts, selling nearly double the amount of copies.
The spin-off, Shingeki no Kyojin: Kuinaki Sentaku(Attack on Titan: No Regrets), is one of the most popular spin-off’s in history selling more than 500, 000 copies. The spin-off follows Levi’s adventures and serves as a prequel to Hajime Isayama’s story. Shingeki no Kyojin: Kuinaki Sentaku recently ended it’s publication and was featured on the cover of the ARIA magazine.
