Originally released back in 2005 in Japan and not long after in North America from Manga Entertainment, FUNimation has picked up the expired license for Noein. The twenty-four episode series was animated by Satelight and was an original work written, directed and storyboarded by Kazuki Akane. Hiroshi Oonogi worked on the overall composition along with a few other writers while Takahiro Kishida handled character design. The series has been out of print for a few years now. FUNimation has picked up the Blu-ray rights to this as well, which will be the first time it’ll be getting a high definition release in North america.
Good news, but where does Europe come into the equation? I'd like to check this out!
