"I'm told that for Tetsuo, Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and James McAvoy have been given the new script."

*shriek of horror* ROB PATTZ?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! D8

... american remake, live-action, a HUGE 6 manga masterpiece being put to the screen in 1 movie, change of location, etc etc.

I even thought the original anime movie was nowhere near as good as the manga. This remake just sounds like a huge mistake.

Not that I care though. No one will force me to watch it, and I won't.

I'd like the original writer and director to make a genuine CGI incarnation of the manga, and just spread it over multiple movies. Technology and talent exists to do the manga justice.

Doesn't it look like they are DELIBERATELY trying to set it up to fail? XD It kinda sounds like it to me tbh. They're making TOO many changes to the whole thing :(

This whole thing is gonna flop horribly, then Hollywood will scratch their heads and go "I wonder what went wrong" and the entire fandom will simultaneously fall flat on their faces.

I like the CGI idea :D

This is will fail miserably, why can't Hollywood just stop tarnishing great classics?

They have ran out of other things to ruin. Now they're aiming at our favorite videogames and anime.

There are some things in this world I want, and things that I don't.

This is a "don't".

Sweety85872041d ago

isnt this more of the loudest "OH HELL NO" instead of a simple "don't"? XD
