Here's the Super Sentai game you've always wanted

Being a Power Ranger. That was the dream of many a pre-teen boy, including mine. Thankfully, as a grown man I don't need to injure myself imitating ranger stunts anymore. Now I can just ruin my eyes playing video games, like the upcoming Super Sentai Battle Ranger Cross game for the Wii.

Now granted, it's not based on Power Rangers but the original Japanese Super Sentai franchise, but the principle is the same: you play as one of several heroes in colored spandex fighting evil in various nondescript industrial areas and rock quarries. Close enough.

This one is based on several years' sentai incarnations, including 2008's Engine Sentai Go-Onger, 2009's Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (known as Power Rangers: Samurai in the west), 2010's Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and the current hotness, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (pictured above). Also, the very first sentai show, 1975's Himitsu Sentai GoRanger will also make an appearance.
