That doesn't stop me from being pissed off, though. If there's one thing the guys at Funimation know how to do, it's make money. I have many friends who fell for buying the 3-4 episode releases way back when. They're playing the game more fairly now, giving you upwards of 20 episodes for the price you used to pay for just three, but that doesn't change the fact that they keep steadily releasing better or more attractive versions of DBZ.

I definitely want to get this on blu-ray, I've always had a feeling that the DBZ series would get released on BD so I held out. But just as the author said, the only thing that is holding me back from purchasing it is that going by the current number of episodes contained in a box, there's going to be about 18 boxes to get. And the last thing I wanna do is start buying the boxes to only find out later that they're being released again in cheaper sets.

... but sadly, this is touted as being the 'US version', which I have ZERO interest in.

I want the original Japanese version, uncut, subbed, remastered in HD.
